Johnstone, UK. 15th Aug, 2026. After a break since 2019, and with investment in local culture from the local council, the annual historic fire engine rally took place with more than 20 vintage and current fire engines droving through Johnstone town centre. The rally was led by a 1939 Dennis Merryweather turntable, originally from Nottingham. Local fire services also held fire safety demonstrations including hot oil fires.
