GLIX – London, UK. 3 February 2026. ‘Rise and Shine’ by artist Lakwena Maciver is unveiled in Piccadilly Circus. The artwork is a 7‑metre tower of stacked disco lightboxes celebrating London’s 80s and 90s nightlife, blending kaleidoscopic visuals with a soundtrack inspired by hip‑hop, soul, and funk and is part of ‘Art After Dark’, Art of London’s seasonal art and culture programme, which runs 3 to 10 February.

Antonio Parra, a member of the Endiablada brotherhood, poses in his costume, during the festival of „La Endiablada,” in honor of the Virgin of Candelaria and Saint Blaise of Sebaste, in the Spanish town of Almonacid del Marquesado. La Endiablada is possibly one of the oldest traditional celebrations in Spain, where men (known as the Devils), dressed in colorful costumes and with cowbells on their waists, roam the streets of the town jumping, dancing, and carry the statue of the Saint in procession.
