Franziska Kehling, a student at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, shows colored popcorn that has been dyed with microalgae in the university’s teaching kitchen. In its laboratories, Anhalt University of Applied Sciences conducts research into algae and their use in the food sector. At the Green Week in Berlin, it is now presenting the products it has developed. Visitors to the fair will be able to try popcorn that has been dyed green, red or blue with algae-based dyes.
