GLIX – Hasselfelde, Germany. 10th Jan, 2026. A musher starts with his sled dogs in Hasselfelde. More than 65 participants took part in the first sled dog race of the season in the western town of Pullman City in Hasselfelde. The 2.9-kilometer trail ran through a snowy landscape.
GLIX – Competitors take part in The Exeter Trail, a historic race between the Haynes International Motor Museum in Sparkford, and finishing at the Passage House Hotel in Kingsteignton, Devon. The 185 mile course features a mixture of muddy forest tracks and twisting, stony hill climbs, testing the drivers skills and ability to the max ! The race was originally started in 1910 as a London to Exeter and return trail and was renamed the Exeter Trail in 1935. It takes place annually in January adding to the trails reputation of unpredictability due to the winter weather.

Iconic film props from classic 1980’s movies are on display at the Riverside Museum on the banks of the River Clyde. Entitled “Retro Reels” it features items from Star Wars, Docter Who, Gremlins , E.T and Back to the future.
