Lady in Blue, a sculpture by New York-based artist Tschabalala Self, stands on the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square, London Unveiled on 10 September, the Lady in Blue Sculpture pays homage to a young metropolitan woman of colour and was created as a contemporary „everywoman” representing the diversity of London today. The Sculpture stands in front of the National Gallery

GLIX – Mumbai, India. 15th Sep, 2026. A volunteer carries an idol of elephant-headed Hindu god Ganesha on his head for immersion in an artificial pond in Mumbai. Small idols usually kept by families at home are immersed on the second day in an artificial man made ponds across the city. The ritual is done to signify the birth cycle of Lord Ganesha.
GLIX – Artists show buffalo puppets during media preview for Return of the Buffalo: Tatanka Owe Akupi at Times Square in New York, NY on September 15, 2026. Actual spectacle will take place in Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn over weekend with 40 life-size buffalo puppets will stampede and handle by more than 160 artists. The spectacle is centered around complexity of the United States at 250 by sharing the story of the national mammal, which was brought to the brink of extinction in the late 19th century and have seen a revival since then.

The Legion Train, a replica of the train used by Czechoslovak Legionnaires in Russia on the Trans-Siberian Railway, opened its season in Liberec, on September 15, 2026. The tour includes a new exhibition titled „Together for the Republic,” which connects the history of the Czechoslovak legionnaires, the Sokol movement, and the Scouting movement from 1918 to 1989. It will be on display in Liberec through September 27, after which it will continue on to other locations throughout the country.

Aircraft from the armed forces of Germany, Slovakia, Spain, Hungary, Slovenia, and Denmark are participating in the exercise.
